Interior dome and courtesy lights

Hm......the other night I noticed when I turned my ingition off, the interior lights did not come on as they usually do before I open the door. They still work when the door is opened or turning the dash light dimmer switch to the on postition. Anyone had this problem, or know what it might be?

Ah, nevermind. I figured out you actually have to take they key out of the ignition before the interior lights will automatically turn on. Probem solved :P
