My friend has a '88 Grand am with an AT. We're trying to put a 5-speed in it. This could be the first of many questions that I post. The main problem I'm concerned about is the speed sensor. What sort of difficulties am I going to have and how can I go about fixing them? The 5-speed I'm putting in is a short tail mazda? or Isuzu? The sensor in it is a magnetic pick up.
