Ok only one problem to go for inspection  (I HOPE). The rear bumper. Right now its held on by cables and straps. My question is that i looked all around the old one on the parts to see. It looks like the whole thing is bolt-on, is this true for everthing? If not what special tools do i need to get it off (hopefully not a welder :???: )

thx for help

bumpers are bolted on, if that's what you're asking... no welding necessary.

If you're REALLY worried, get 3M double sided tape... those things are strong as hell. People attach lips and sideskirts w/ just the double sided tape, so yeah, that's an option too.

The previous owner was hit in the rear corner, and i didn't realize till now that the whole rear frame is 'bent'. It has to be put on a hydraulic press and straighted out. I dont know if its worth the money anymore. I was told by a mechanic that it would be 600-800 by visual estimate, i dont know if just for that or for welding the back, attaching the new bumper, but doh!

Oh well i'll go sit in a hole now :argue:
