Please help with my power window problem. I've tried to read other postings, but I just don't get it.... A pitiful female who always gives the do-it-yourself route a try before spending the big bucks!
For about a year, I can lower the driver's side window (never a problem), but I'm having trouble raising it. After it's down, I press the button to raise it, and it might go up an inch and that's it. If I wait about 30 seconds, I can raise it another inch. If I wait another 30 seconds after THAT, I can raise it another inch. After doing this a number of times, eventually the window gets all the way up. It doesn't make weird noises, and it doesn't seem to be off the track. It also doesn't help if I try to "help" the window by yanking up on it myself. It just does what it wants to do in its own sweet time.
It's a '97 Grand Am that has only 14,000 miles on it!!! For real.... My mom bought it new and only drove it to the bank and the hairdresser for the first 5 years of its life! I got it with less than 7,000 miles on it! Help me keep it healthy!
Thanks so much. :angel1:
