So. Just leaving work comming home today, and the car suddenly died driving down the road. I tried to restart, but it would just turn over, and not do anything. Traced it down to the fuel pump / injector fuse was blown. Went through 4 fuses, and they just keep blowing, so no fuel pump. Only thing I can think of is the fuel pump has seized up and is just drawing too much current, or there is a bad wire somewhere. Any ideas? Good thing I rolled into a parking lot. It is sitting in a donut shop parking lot about 3 blocks from the shop it will go to, or I can get it towed home, need to decide for tomorrow. Any ideas?

Thanks

Something is amiss in the circuit. Probably the fuel pump has a shorted motor.

well.. problem solved!

My dad put in a new oil pressure sensor in my car today, and bent the prongs on it. I'll do a futher inspection on that tomorrow, for now, no sensor will get me around. Just glad it is fixed. Went back into town on a hunch to check one more thing, and sure enough. My dad isn't allowed to work on my car anymore!

quick update. Took out the 'new one', and one of the pins was pushed in a bit further than the others.. So I suspect that is the problem. Will be exchanging that for a new one, and hope it goes in better...
