I recently had my car broken into and they busted out my passenger door window and stole my cd player. Anyhow, i'm goin to buy the window at a salvage yard, are there any tips or tricks to installing the new window? Any certain tools required, or is it a pain? Any help is appreciated.

What you do is remove your door panel and the rubber weather striping on the inside of where the window goes through. Then lower the window regulator so that you can see the two bolts through the holes in the door that held on the window. The bolts are 10mm and then lift out what's left of the window. Next slowly slide your new window into the slot and put the bolts back in and the weather stripping. Then test the window to make sure that it goes up and down smoothly and if it does then put the door panel back on and you're done!

It is easy. I couldn't believe how easily my windows come out. The rear windows are a pain though.

Ok, i got the window in (not sure if its right or not) but it rolls up and down but the window itself still kind of tilts forward and leaves a gap on the door edge side. Did i not install it right or is maybe the regulator bad? Any help is appreciated.

Also, on my old car i had the same problem and it was just a little plastic guide that clipped onto the back straight edge of the window but it had a hole in the glass to snap onto, but these windows have no holes.......? Any help?
