Neat little box...I will play Guinea Pig for you all and tell you how it performs, just give me a month before I install it.

And yes, Spy, I know of your opinions of Jet, :wink4: but I thinkk this one may work well. We will see. :)

it's like the TPS enhancer deal.. .kinda a waste...

*shakes head* go get an ASE reprogram after you get disapointed by it's performance gains.

Well, YeahDoug has a point. Nobody make nothing for a 1996-1998. Plus I am buying this for 10% below cost ($180). AND, if I dont like it, I will return it, because I can, and uh, stuff. :D Like I said I will test it out and post the results. Ya never know, it may be the Pancea for 1996-98 LD9's.

Funny that you mention that. Me and the "Mopar maniac" were bouncing that idea around, too. I have computers for the 99+, but I wonder if....hmmm. Well, I do have flash reprogramming at work, I will have to see. Do you send this computer this "ASE" company, and what does it entail?

I highly doubt it will work. You can't even put a 2000 computer in a 1999 car. The car won't start with a different year computer in it let alone a different generation.

Well, I heard SO much negative stuff from people I decided to not install it, or buy it. Might as well go with the cam swap for now. :brows:

I'm curious - has anyone actually talked (or sent an email) to ASE about this supposed "unavailability" of the ASE 'puter upgrade?

I ask only because they do offer a program for 98+ 2.4s, so going back to '96 (I'm thinking) wouldn't entail a huge investment in time for them.

There is nothing on their website foy my GA at all, but I sent them an email about getting something done for my 3100 - no problem, as it turns out, because they have a program for that motor in the GP.

The only downside to the ASE system is that you have to give up the box for a week - a small price to pay for what they offer, though.

Yup, about 6 months ago I emailed them, didn't hear anything back though
