I've heard about doing this for the 3100's, what does it do and how much does it cost to get done?

I was wondering if I would get like an extra 5-10 hp cause I heard something like 10hp in the low-mid range and 5hp in the higher rpm range.

That's what most places like to claim, but I think I might've gotten more like 5 out of what Superchips did for me a few years back; I could barely feel a difference. At least it's nice to know the governor's gone and the shifts are firmer. Filling up w/ 93-octane every time kinda sux, but I'm used to it. :P
