I would, but would they be willing to build in a NACA duct over the airbox? I've got a shorty CAI installed right now, and am looking to have my current hood modified w/ a duct to create a true RamAir effect.

I checked out their website, and they have different style hoods. Did they say whether or not the $450 is for just the OEM style or what?

I'm still debating on whether or not I want an OEM hood. I really want to open up the engine bay get some cool air in there after the turbo is put on.

I'm in - out of curiosity, though, is there an estimate on the weight savings over the stock steel piece?

if dey make cf hood for 03's gagt for dat price im in but rsm has one for 599 if im not mistaken
I would also recommend some hood pins. The hood on my GTI opened on me while going 60MPH. It dont happen to every hood and all the time but it happens sometime. Not sure if that would happen with these hoods, anyone know what is the bottom structure made off?

Mark me up for one hood. Any extras anybody may want on theirs, I'll take 'em if it gets the hoods built sooner. I just don't hafta use the "EXTRAS" if I don't need to, although cooler air under the hood can't be all bad. I have some industrial-srtrength rock-chips in my hood, and it'll cost me almost $400 to paint it. CF all the way !!
