That's a 4 inch tip.. nothing was done to that picture.

EDIT: Go to my Cardomain site for a better one.
EDIT2: All pics but the muffler were resized in MSPaint, so they look terrible. When I get a free moment, I'll take more and resize them in PS.

C'mon guys ... be nice!!! It is HIS car and if that is what he wants, so be it ... rice or not, I think it is cool ... a little too big for my tastes but it doesn't make the car ugly or anything ... give the guy a break :D

I am so sick of seeing all the rice and or rude comments on this board. That is a few of many reasons I don't post very often anymore. All I have to say is if you cant respect someones style or what they like then just dont say anything yano?

muffler - not my taste, but you could have picked a worse one. Atleast your car looks clean and taken care of. When I get all my interior vinyl done, they'll probly be calling my car rice too. But I'll be the one with trophies, honors and the satisfied feeling I did all the work myself.

Looks good man, don't let no one get to you. We all have our own style. While others follow a "hating" majority.

You got any other plans?

That wasn't my first choice in mufflers, but I KNEW I wanted a round tip. If the muffler was oval and the tip round, all you rice haters would probably still call it a "ricer". I mean it's not a Honda, it actually looks good.

Lol.. that is actually just grey primer. I used it because it kinda matches the rims.. and I thought red would be too flashy.

I'll only lower it if I decide to keep it after 100k.. and by that time, if my mind is made up.. an engine and transmission swap will come first.

How much did you pay for the muffler and install.....

- reason I ask - If you looked around you could have found a place to do a custom cat-back and dual pipes for probably around 300 bucks.

Corey96SE

If I went dual, I'd need a new rear facia, or one off a GT. I also like the round style, plus it's rare to see a modded GA around here. And it only cost $50 to install, $70 for the muffler itself. I shopped around, got a great deal, and I mean great.

Not necessarily, if you went to the right shop they could make the cutout for your other side. And besides the fact, I think that if you had went with a full catback exhaust setup with a single dual tip, granted you could find a shop in your area, that it would look really good.

I hate to tell you this too, but your comment about your muffler being PERFORMANCE is wrong. That fart can added absolutely nothing to your performance, it made your car louder, that's it.

But hey, your tastes are diffrerent than mine. Not meaning to sound rude, I just think for a few extra bucks you could have had something that would have added performance, added to the looks of your car, and in a subtle and unique way at that.

A'Pexi is performance. I'm not going around saying I'm up 10 hp. Do I feel a little difference? Yes. Is it much, hell no. Is it the muffler, doubtful, it's probably the new pipes they ran to the muffler.

Few extra bucks? $120 total for my setup, $300+ for yours. Plus meaning I'm not going with the hacking up of my rear facia. I've seen jobs those shops have done and they're terrible. What I had done looks good and saved me money.

Something else, my car doesn't fart around. You can't hear it, so you can't pass judgement. I've gotten nothing but compliments from those who have heard it. I had a friend with a Magnaflow catback setup on his 99 GAGT HO, he admitted to mine sounding better during idle, but about the same while driving. That same exhaust he had is what I plan on putting on the 2000 Impala after I sell my car.

not bad, but the grapefruit shooter is a little large.
Don't feel bad, I started out with one of my old exhausts that was about that big, but I got a hell of a deal on a smaller on that sounds better and makes the car look better

I think it looks alright, I have 3 1/2 in tips on my GT and they look great. The only thing different is that had a muffler where the tips extend 3in out and it looks really good, i swear (i need to get a pic)

I got a deal on the muffler.
