Everyone wants to have this huge meet but will only show up if it's in thier own backyard. What's up with that.

Hmmmm.. for it to be more central u need to move over one state to the right..
Well if you want to be excacly central (hehehe) but if something like that would be really good organized and u would be getting a lot of people to come for sure it surly would be worth to drive..

I dunno, Wyoming would be cool, take a drive up the mountain and have a huge GA picnic somewhere. Besides that it would give me a good reason to go see my family there.

Where do you live... that looks like you have Colorado on the map. I live in Colorado, so I'll meet up anywhere around here for sure! It would be cool to get everyone from the mountain region to join up for a meet.

If we had a lot of people I'd be all for it. It'd be quite a drive from PA but well worth it. It'd be the second time I've been out there.

BTW Kansas City is the most central place in the united states.

Your best bet is to have it in a bigger city, i know i dont want to drive 14 hours to more countryside and listen to the birds sing more than i arleady do.

Im not just saying Kansas City because i live close by, ill drive to a big meet if its within a day or so. But somewhere around KC or St. louis would be the best bet and the central spot in the US.

I could do KC or St Louis alright, anything else would be too difficult. Couldn't be anytime soon, taken a bit of vacation already this year :agree:

its not that bad with the tornados. My town got wiped out by a tornado but it was the first one we've ever had here. ITs not like they come flying thru on a daily basis. Esp up in KC they are non existant in the city luckly. They are way worse in oklahoma.

Whats crazy is last year we had like 1/8th the tornadoes we normally do. We average 50 something sightings per year, last year we had like 15 I think. But yeah, we get em really nasty. I love severe weather though :agree:

when would this meet be?

just wondering as I don't know if I would be able to make it this year, I mean I get my permit in July, but then I think the new law passed where I have to wait 6 months to go for my full licenses. although I am also hearing things about that being passed in September, which would mean I could get my licenses in Augest (be nice to get it before the new school year)

either way i don't think I would be able to make it this year, I told myself that as soon as I got my licenses I want to take like a 3day road trip :D but who knows maybe me and my dad could go to this, that would proably make more sense. anyway I'll have to see in a few months and as more information gets set etc...

Maybe somewhere between where ya got it marked and the next red star to the right looks about right. And for anybody to complain about the distance :P . It's gotta be somewhere and SOMEbody going to have to drive a long ways. Hell.........I drive to the next province just to get beer! And our provinces are a LOT bigger than your states (mostly).

Does it really matter how big the provinces are when all you have to do is cross a bridge to get to the next? :D
