well this is what has taken up my spare time in the last two years, its going slow, but very steady, its our 1970 cst C/10 it has all these factory options: 402 BB (we have done alot of work to her, shes got doug thorly headers, lunati cam, elderbrock intake and carb), AC, bucket seats, AM/FM radio, sliding rear window, tilt steering, automatic tranny, its got factory tach and everything:)...from the papers i have looked at 13% of the trucks this year were made with these options, which is y i deffinatly want to get it done soon...were not gonna make it a show truck, but more like it just came from the factory:)

This is just a guess but I assume it has the TH400 tranny since it's a big block and I know they even used it on some SBCs. If you have some spare cash laying around I would suggest putting a shift kit on it. You would be surprised by the performance. Another thing would be a LSD if you don't already have one and some 3.73 gears. If you are going to take it on the highway I wouldn't go much higher IMHO.

I noticed the brake booster so it has power brakes but does it have power steering, I'm just curious.

it does have that tranny, its a very solid tranny, i dont think we want the shift kit, the cam and stall converter do fine as it is:) plus a four barrel and shift kit not needed...yeah it has power brakes, and steering from the factory, we swapped out the gears in the rear, the final gear is now a 3:42 we have upgraded the ignition, and have dropped a 81 chevy front end on her as well, now she has 4 wheel disc:)...we upgraded most everything that deals with safety, now we just gotta make her look good
