hi guys, i just really started looking at this site today. i guess i registered a long time ago but i don't even remember! anyways, i've owned a black 1995 grand am gt gold edition (gold trim is the only difference i think) for the past 7 years. she has around 115,000 miles on it and she's still running strong. drivers side power window has gone out twice, alternator has been replaced, theres a weird problem with the headlights going out when i try to switch my brights on sometimes and the two left tailpipes are hanging down low but i still love my car to death! anyways, i dropped by to see what the word is on the new grand am's as i'm buying one on monday. i guess theres an occassional passlock and fuel pump problem with them but who cares? they're dead sexy! right now i'm trying to decide between an orange 30 yr anniversary sct 2 door and a black sct 4 door. the 30 yr one will cost me a little more a month but it's got leather, xm radio and power seats. plus it's a sexy orange! both have a sunroof and all the other options cept the black doesn't have xm radio. was going to get a dodge stealth r/t but there were problems getting a loan. so anyways, i'm going back to the grand am! test drove a cavalier, tiburon gt1 and the grand am blew the other 2 cars away. but you guys don't care about that, you wanna hear about ME! :) i'm a 22 year old computer animator livin' in kansas city, KS and i'll tell you which car i get tomorrow when i bring her home! needed the second car because my g/f drives my '95 gt to work all the time so i'm stuck borrowing cars and getting rides and dropped off etc...
