After looking at the Alero mirrors that were fading, I decided to do something bout them. Here are some pics.

i think it looks much better, those are the mirrors for that car.

I tell ya, its really cool to cruise the strip next to a Fusion Orange GA...the color looks perfect in ANY light!

yeh now it looks great...what the hell were u thinking putting those alero mirrors on there?....that was just butt ugly and didnt match at the body at all

oh my bad...i thought for some reason this guy put alero mirrors on them...my bad....why the hell would Pontiac put those mirrors on that car....

They've done it to all the 2003s...I have no idea why. It annoys me b/c now I have to spend $$ to change them back to what they should have been.

I purchased them from www.gmpartsdirect.com. I had them in a few days and then got them painted. A DEFINATE improvement!

Any idea what the part# is? That site is almost useless w/out one...great prices tho :)

Here are the part numbers. One is for the left mirror, one is for the right. I am not sure which is which, but these are the two numbers I used and got the mirrors I was lookin for. Hope this helps. later- shawn

I wouldn't mind mine so much if they were PAINTED!!! Dammit, why couldn't they paint them???

GM's always lookin 2 save a buck. That's why they put them on there & also why they wern't painted body color. They also had problems w/ the GA mirrors breaking off in car washes for a while. I was told that they had switched to a cheaper composite plastic & that's what caused that problem. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

how much did it cost you to paint your mirrors? i really really cannot stand the damned ones i've got on there now :x
