Ok, I have a straight black 97 se, cloth interior, i recently had to repaint the rocker panels and basically everything under the trim, turned out ok, just not as much sheen to it.
Anyways, it got me thinking, so i pulled the spoiler off, and got it primed tonight, I was gonna paint it fire extinguiher red at work tommorow, and was thinking bout doing the bumpers and trim red as well, anyone seen anything painted this way, and did it look ok??:agree:

you mean paint the trim red and spoiler... and have the car black..
i dont know.. i think it wouldnt look good cuz of the colors.. black and red are like WHOLE colors..
were black and silver.. kinda go together... or blue and white.... REd and well nothing i think.

Lets see it.....take a pic of your car and photoshop it.....heck it sounds a like a good idea having 2 colors on the out side....

Hmmm,... well my suggestion would be to not follow the trim or bodylines w/ you color change. If you do it will look alot like something outta the 80's like those 2 tone paintjobs on the sunbirds, etc. Maybe come up w/ a unique way of divideing the colors.

photoshop, lol, I work in a paint shop. For some reason it just looked good in my head, by i sprayed it up and put it on, an No. Red spoiler on black car sucks. I changed it over to metallic silver and clearcoat clearcoat clearcoat. I like it anyways. I Dont have money for mods, so I just wanted to give it a bit of character.
I like it, but i was thinking of doing the strips along the side silver too, the lowest trim that runs under the doors, and the line goes up to the side of the bumpers, hmmmmm
