What would be the best brand of Xenon Headlights and Foglights for a 2000 GT??? I really need to upgrade my headlights to something better, i can't see anything at night. I have looked on Ebay but there is so much junk on there i can't filter it all out to see the quality stuff....any opinions welcome

You might want to consider Sylvania SilverStars. They are highly rated, even favourably written up in Car & Driver (Or Motor Trend).

These are much lower in cost than Xenon lights, but definitely improve the stock lighting.

if you do a bunch of driving with your lights you might want to reconsider getting higher wattage lights. i put blue xenon bulbs in my dads truck and it melted the pig-tail that the light plugs in to. factory wires aren't thick enough to handle the extra juice going to brighter lights. they fail to inform you of this on the box when you buy them. i've known of several people this has happened to. its easy to fix it, but its frustrating. all you gotta do is whack off the melted pig-tail and crimp on a new one.

for headlights id recommend PIAA platinum bulbs. i had the ones on ebay with 10 year warranty, but they are pieces of crap, melted my harness, and they gave me bad bulbs as a replacement when one blew. the new one blew in less than a day. the PIAAs are about $80 but well worth it. they arent as bright white as the others, but they last, and thats a big thing in my book.

look at my new thread where i talked about my optilux fog lights. they are the entire housings, but youll melt the factory ones with any replacement bulbs anyway.

i would go to ebay and type:
Eurolite 9007 for ur car and then 893 for the fogs should be 16.95 and 14.95 and they work great :)

I would also suggest the Silverstars for you. I've had them for a little over a year now and I wouldn't put anything else in. They run on stock wattage so they're safe for your wiring harness and they're brighter than any other bulb I've seen. I don't know how Sylvania did it but they rule!

As for the fog lamps I like my Blazer 3200, even though both the lenses are cracked now. They still light up great though. Might just be a good idea to put something in front of the glass lens to protect it from rocks.

i'm not sure when you can buy them, but slyvania is making 880 and other fog light bulb sizes in the SilverStar line. i'm planning on getting them whenever i can.

The only fog-size bulb they have in the SilverStars right now is the H4. They also have the 900X series for headlights and a few sealed beam models but that's all. No 880 yet.
