As for anyone who wants a ride... I will give everyone a ride... so long as I have the time. ;) The GA has been a part of my life... and the GA website has been a major part of my social life. I will be here, and with you all, forever. Get used to me!
[edit]I've talked to people who have crossed-over to LS1 forums and have said time and time-again that no community can compare to the friendly nature of our GA boards. (I'll def. be at the GAOC/ECM meet in August... I can't wait!)

Congrats Rob, looks great.
I don't spend much time on the LS1 forum, but I do visit Fbody.com from time to time.
So when are we going to get some killer pictures for the site? :)

Read ls1tech.com, typically the generosity and maturity rivals that of the GA boards. Ls1.com is bullsh!t, stay away from there.

If you're talking about track times, you might have a chance... I still have yet to practice launches. Its rougly 9,347 times harder to launch than the GA... I'll figure it out though.
I have considered trying to sell the car all in one piece... but who would pay $17,000 for a 2000 GA w/ 50,000 miles? :2up: :D

I had a '95 Z-28 which is similar (though about 50hp shy of WS6 land output) and I quickly learned the trick to a smooth, consistant launch was to go from ~10% throttle to full throttle over about half a car length of roll out.
Your car, being a tad more muscular than my Z was, probably needs a bit more "easing off" than mine did.
oh yeah... don't let the shifter gate thingy bite you.. :P

awesome car man, nothing like the powertrain in that puppy huh?
A few mods and youll be burning corvettes like your rear tires. Congrats on the car I wish I could have the pleasure of owning such a fast car then again I wouldnt be so happy about how my insurance company would bend me over for having a sports car, lol. Have lots of fun with your new car!
