door handles.....

Would i be able to get the rear door handles off of a 4 door 96-98 GA and put them in the front side doors on mine(i have a 2 door) I just want to get rid of the keyhole but i don't wanna shave my door handles.I'll be getting a keyless entry/alarm soon so i was wondering if i could do the swap.

was your moms keyless entry stock or aftermarket system? Cuz im getting an aftermarket and i'll be checking the batteries often and the system itself,my dads an electrician so he knows how to test this stuff,but that was one reason im not shaving my handles off you would never be able to get in,atleast with having the handles i can still lift the door handle to open the door.And if not then i can always use those tools that you slip down inside the door to unlock it.But does anyone know if i can swap the handles?

The keyless entry was from factory on my mom's GP.
In winter, when it was very cold, the keyless didn't want to work...
We hope that it won't be the same with her new GA...
