for the last several days i noticed a grinding sound when i start the car in the morning. it only last for a couple of seconds and usually doesn't happen for the rest of the day. to me, it sounds like a power steering noise, but the ps fluid is at the proper level. does this sound like a power steering pump going bad? any ideas? thanks

mine makes the sound too, i think its supose to sound like that. i havnt heard of alot of power steering problems

hmm.. i haven't heard much either. i'm not sure if it's suppose to sound like that, but i haven't had any problems with steering. the thing is, the grinding sound just started recently, so i don't think it's normal. thanks for your input.

try flushing the fluid..


Mine makes slight noise but after I changed the fluid it was noticably softer...

is it cold there?

mine does that 2, but only when its like.....-30 C LOL
