Change Cluster

Hello I was wondering if changing the guage cluster out of my 88GA because my cluster has just the basic fuel,temperature and speedometer and system monitor and nothing else, the cluster i got, and want to put in has the alternator volts, oil pressure, tach, fuel, and temperature... Could I just swap these out like, plug and play or do I need to run new wires for all this stuff, I was reading somewhere in the fourm that all I need to do is swap out, but now (I) am asking.. is this possible and if so, explain.... thanks

Your best bet would be to get a pillar gauge pod before you do that. Go with a Universal kit, put on it what you want to put on it. That would be the best route to go here.

i believe you can change them out.. as long as the cluster came from the same year car, same engine etc etc..
the easy way to know if the cluster will work is to take the old one out and match up the plugs on the back of the gauges
you may have to move the harness to one side or the other. you will see some different slots on the dash where the gauges went and you can move your harness to that slot.
