Hey everyone, this is my first post over here- just got my 2000 Grand Am SE2 about a month ago.
Firstly, I don't know too much about cars beyond being an attentive driver and having every service done on time (I'm more into detailing than mechanics). Today I noticed some dripping from my car after parking it today. There were two patches dripping, both from coming underside of the car (behind the wheels, about under where your seat would be).
- One: on the passenger side there was a lot of dripping (I suspect it was AC condensation since the AC was on during my drive), it left a long streak down the driveway
- The other: was a small leak which left a 1 inch tiny puddle, but it came from the driver's side
I know AC will drip afterwards, but is it normal for it to happen on both sides?
Both are similar fluids, they are clear and I couldn't smell anything interesting (but I don't have the best sense of smell) :)
Is it normal for AC condensation to appear on both sides?? Just want to make sure that its not brake fluid or something.
Thanks in advance!
