Is it a good idea to put quarter sized circles in the middle of each cover up of the turn signal or no. Has anyone done and what looks better?

I think its illegal to cover up the turn signals, so you might want to get the holes. But I dont know if the cops even pull people over for that, so I dont really know. Theres lots of people on here without holes and I dont think they have had any problems.
