damn dude,im about to ask you to make me some of those for my 97! I've been wanting to get my headlights look like projectors.Nice job!

Well here are the night pictures. I like the way it came out, because it doesn't affect the night vision and I shouldn't get hasseled by the local police about having them on at night.

Hard to capture how well they came out with my digi cam.

if you look at them head on did the light seem to shine just through the circles to make the projector kind of headlights?Can't really tell from those pics,but none the less,looks great:thumbup:

It all depends on the process I use. This set I did very lightly, so that at night it almost looks stock for driving down the road. Now I could go much darker all the way to blacked out around the lights.

Hmm.... so does this mean you're not selling the clear headlight covers anymore? BTW, I like that etched Pontiac on the covers... did u get that kit off eBay?

If you guys are interested, I might be making some more sets. It would be a preorder situation so that I can get some good deals on parts. Right now it looks like 75$ as pictured or 82.50 for a darker tint or blackout. Without the "PONTIAC" I can lower the price $7. If I find cheaper prices on supplies, I will refund the difference back. Either PM me or email me at jmills@ctel.net

The original custom headlight covers met their demise today at about 75 MPH. I was heading down the highway and I noticed that one of the headlight covers had flipped up and way only hanging on by the plastic velcro top. I quickly moved to the slow lane to pull over and just as I got into the slow lane it popped off, hit my windshield and flipped up and over the car. I watched in the rearview mirror as it hit the pavement and broke into a few pieces. Now I have 1 custom headlight cover, and a lot of good that will do me.:mad:

His aren't projector but mine are. Their basically the same but i painted black after my factory color to keep light from shining through

Alright so after seeing this thread a few days ago I have been looking all over the place for a set of clear head light covers. I must not be very knowledgeable in my search for parts so if someone could point me in the direction of '96-'98 Grand Am clear head light covers I would appreciate that, thank you.

try jcwhitney, xtremeautofx or jegs to name a few. I know autozone and pepboys carry them...but each place has a different price.
