Headlight Covers Causing Damage

[2003 GT1 SILVER]

Does anybody know if headlight covers can cause damage to your outside paint I have two deep scratches above my headlamp and I have tiny little bubbles forming around the headlamp. :(

Mine dont. I dont see how they would, they dont even touch the paint.

The daytime running lights may be getting too hot with the covers on there.thats bout all i think it could be

We have had our headlight covers on for almost two years straight, onyl time they come off is to be cleaned. I took them off last week on my way home from NYC, but other then that no problems at all.
