I have recently painted some pieces of my interior and there are some other I want to paint, like the center console between the seats. But I dont know how or what I need to take it out. Does anybody know how to do this?

4 10mm bolts....2 inside the console, 1 in EACH cup holder ((youll have to remove the ashtray and plastic liner from the northern most cupholder to get to the screw).....once those are out it simply lifts out.....but you might have to apply some pressure as it also has tensioner clips ;)

Actually I have another question, how do you take the shift knob off?

if your shift knob is anything like mine is, there is a little pin holding it on...take a knife or a small screwdriver to pry it out...it's really easy to do.

yeah, i'm doing some painting of mine right now too. for the shifter, theres a "clip" that actually is just a big staple holding the shifter down. its in the front of it so no one sees it.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to the the plastic that surrounds the lights over the back seat off. i tried to get them off, but didn't want to force it in fear of breaking something. in my car the whole thing is: a button to turn on the light, the light, then a coathanger.

Any ideas????
