help door dented

Ok the other day some one backed into my car and dented the passenger side door at the bottom its a quite large dent and I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to fix it my self. How to and all the things I will need would like to do it my self to learn.

rubber mallet and beat the livin sh!t out of,lol.....no,im sure if you went to a auto store and ask they should know what kind of tool or way about doing it yourself without going to a body shop and paying over 100 bucks.....sometimes dents when fixed crack the paint and need to be repainted,but not all the time.
