It sounds like they would look way out of place......someone I know told me I should get them. Sure would like to see them ON a car before I did that.........that seems like more of a truck thing to me.............

Look at 99grandamse's avatar, or find pics of his car in the members ride section, he's got em.

I have them on mine.....they blend in with the black on the opera window. The ones I have are made by WeatherTech and go inside the window track instead of sticking them on with double-sided tape.

What good are they for though? I had them on my car when I bought it but they had to go! I thought they looked way out of place on the car, any car, or truck for that matter. I always thought they were for people who smoked so they could have their window cracked while it was raining.

They cut down wind noise and you are also able to have them down a little bit when its raining and no its not for people who smoke.

They look pretty cool........I was worried they would look weird with my 2 door but I think I might try them. I know someone who has them and he would never be without them. He can leave his windows cracked when the car is parked and not worry about rain. Also, they cut down on the wind noise but still give fresh air. I might give em a try. Thanks for the replies everyone.

They didn't do that much for wind noise. I did say that I had them on my car. So that's about all they'd be good for is for people who smoke.

yeah, I actually want to get a set of the weathertech because they don't buldge out as much as the Ventvisors. But are they really worth the extra money? More than double the price.

i think they actually look pretty good on the grand ams. i'm with deejay. NO ONE smokes in my vehicle and i get pretty mad when someone does in my girlfriends car. i had a real good friend i considered a sister......but she didn't even smoke in my vehicle. they've cut down on wind noise on my vehicle. and i like the fact that i can roll them down in the rain. like today i was in my moms car and it was hot as hell, but i had to keep the defroster on. i wanted to roll down the window, but it was raining.
sorry lol, i think they look good.

Ya i would say its worth it for the WeatherTech. no tape. I did a little sanding in mine to get the track just right . I love them all the time not just when im smoking.

For those of you who have the Weathertech ones, is there any danger in taking your car to the touchless carwashes? Would the vent things rip off or crack in the strong winds?
The reason I'm asking is because the stick-on ventvisors have a warning about that.

I've got the VentVisors on my 97 2door(looking to get those WeatherTech ones now, lol) I think they look good, they serve their purpose during rain and snow, and have noticed less wind noise as well.

My wifes always though about a set fo rher car but I didnt care for how they disrupt the smoothness of the vehicle.
Yuors don't seem to stand out that much, I might have to look into that brand if she still wants them.

Any item like that there is a chance of the blower system ripping it off.
If your going though a full service type wash, most decent places can sent the blower to have less pressure at the front, middle or end of the vehicle.
