Last night I was haning out with some friends and one of em scratched the hell out of my hood with his belt and I want to know how to get rid of em without having to go all out and buff it and shit. Any suggestions?

run your finger nail over the scrach. if you can feel it with your nail or if the scrach is down to the primmer. your might not even get it out with a buffer and wet sanding is the key. if you cant feel then im afraid buffing is prolly the best way to go.

yes like he said, you can buff it out, but since i also had some scratches on my car, i went to the local PEP Boys, and bought some sort of special paint... you can buy it in whatever color you want, and when you put it on, it fills in the scratch and hardens, so it's basically like there was never a scratch in the first place

why not buff, im 16 years old and i can buff....its not that hard....start out with a buffing wheel that kinda looks like a mop i guess and use rubbing compound, use the liquid stuff....3m works great....once you get that buffed...then go to a polishing compound with a different wheel...i dont know how to explain it.....and buff the rest of the car with that.....only buff on like 1 speed on the buffer...it doesnt need to go that fast.....once you are done....wash it off and put a nice coat of wax on it
