I have a 92 that i just did the head gaskets on. When i did this, i also replaced the starter the A.I.C. valve lower rad hose and the exhaust cross over pipe. When i went to start the car after hooking up the battery, i got an error code. Along with the fact that it still had the fluctuating idle, the engine was giving me an error code and the only thing that made sense to me was the MAP sensor(because in my code book there is a list of different problems). If anyone could help me out with this problem im anxious to get my car out on the road i havent taken it out yet.......

I bet the code was 36.
I also bet you have a vacuum leak. Thats what is setting the 36 if I'm right not the MAP.

I have the ECM error code 31. This could be various things from the fuel injector to the Park Neutral switch, if anyone could help it would be great.

Id say check your map sensor first. Make sure the wires to the connectors arent bare or broken and check the voltage and compare with the spec whatever it may be. error code 31 means exactly what you said but pertaining to the map sensor it is directly involved either with a short or low voltage. If thats ok than check all the other stuff too. You can test your the connectors to your fuel injectors with a noid light if you have one. However if it is injector related it probrably wont be the wiring. As far as your car running like crap those are the two things that would give you a code 31.
