It has nothing to do with the sound system...
It has 3 initials in its name...
And yes, it belongs in this performance section...
HAHAHAHA....i'm hopefully putting it on tomorrow
Now what is it??? I've made it easy enough. The first person to guess it gets..........
Nothing!! Sorry, needed to have a little fun

sounds bad ass? Im trying to convince my dad to get me one. There is a weird noise of air in my exhaust somewhere so i told him it needs replaced and SLP is pretty much *stock* (which it isnt) but just louder.

I guarantee you on a V6, the SLP is NOT stock sounding in any way. Nothing close to borla or magnaflow.
I cant even remember why I wasted $$$ for a magnaflow on my car

Yep...SLP cat-back it is. I got if off my buddy. He put 40 miles on it and decided it was too loud for him. So he made me an unbelievable offer that I couldn't refuse. Well I ran into some difficulties during install, or should I say...demolition of my stock exhaust. Two of the 3 bolts on the flange that connects the cat to the resonator broke. So I went crazy with my sawz-all, but went through all my blades. So its sitting with no exhaust system right now (I had to start it up, oh it sounded so cool!)
So it should be complete tomorrow morning. I can't wait to take it for a rip with it on. I'll let everyone know how it performs.
3 letters and it's in your trunk? I was going to say CTN (Christmas Tree Needles) but then you said it was performance related, then let the cat out of the bag. Oh well.

I know I know!! Believe me, I wanted to have it before the meet, but I didn't have the cash for it then. Needless to say I am now broke again. But so far its worth it....;)

Just a follow up on my newly added SLP cat-back after some good road testing. Well first off, the SLP definately does not sound stock at all. Even at idle, it sounds like there is a bigger motor under the hood. Sounds very similar (I think) to my buddy's '97 Z28 when at idle. Throughout the entire RPM band, it gets even louder. I personally thought it was a little too loud at first, but I've quickly adjusted to it and love it even more.
Now for performance.....WOW. Combined with my intake, this exhaust really woke my car up. Past 2K RPM's, the car pulls and keeps pulling. Top end is amazing now. When i stomp on it while doing about 20 mph, it chirps the tires now as it down shifts. It never did that before. I'm really impressed by SLP. If anyone is considering it, I say go for it!
I'm going to the track in a couple weeks to see what kind of numbers I can pull. I ran 15.5's multiple times with just my intake, so i'm hoping to improve on that.
