Here's my old man's car....looking all shiny because there was no salt on it at the time (now there is a white stripe down each side of the car because of the salt).

Ooooh, and I just got ahold of a video of me drag racing last summer! :D Except it's 17mb right now... :( So I need to figure out how to shrink it (any help is appreciated...tried using Windows Movie Maker, but it seemed hell-bent on making it an audio file). But once I shrink it down to size, I'll upload it to my student server probably and link to it. :)

It sounds like the driver of the other car has the same last name as mine, which is pretty ironic. Even more ironic, I think his first name is the same as my dad's...so it sounds kinda like I'm racing my dad, even though my real dad was in Wisconsin at the time (I was in Indiana).

Well, here's a not-so-great quality video of the race anyway. It's about 400 kb I believe, and definitely not the same sound or video quality of the one I have, but it gets the idea across. If I get a better quality one later that isn't too big, I'll post that one in place of this.

The voices you hear in the video (besides the announcer) are Scott's (Grand Aminator) and his girlfriend's voices. I liked how she was bugging him to see if I could win the race. :) I did have a faster time than the other guy, but I had such a bad reaction time that he finished the 1/8 mile before me. Of course, I couldn't hear my car at ALL because his was so loud. :)

Thanks Shawn. I remember wondering how much that guy was gonna destroy me by when we were in the staging lanes. So I was extremely surprised when I saw I was keeping up with him and even gaining on him. :)

Hehehe, you just gave me a great idea. Next time I'm at the track, I should turn my blinker on in the staging lane and have it on all the way down the track. Hopefully as I whip some unsuspecting opponent. :D That'd be cool

It's about 1 mb in size and has a bit better sound and video quality. :)

Oh man Regal GS's are AWESOME!

I would trade the GA in for one in a second if I can a deal worthy of it... which isnt going to happen anytime soon.

Awesome sleeper car.... and wicked with a nice set of rims.
