Hmmm I don't know where I put those. I'll have to post them later, even though I am not happy at all with my times. But not bad considering my engine light was on and it felt like I was running on 5 cylinders.
BTW, thanks for scanning it for me Mike!

On that note, Kelly kicked my butt when we raced. I'll admited it.
He's a tough one to beat at the strip, but I owned him on the high banks. Well in a NASCAR simulator anyways. hehehe

hahahaha That's what you get when you're sitting at the lights and watch your apponent launch. I did that twice in a row... The first time (with Kelly) I did it on purpose to see him launch, the next time (against a 12-second Camaro I guess I was overwhelmed by his exhaust note. My last 2 launches I did MUCH better. ;)

I always thought the first rule of drag racing was......

1. DON'T TURN!!

Followed by:

2. Drive Fast
3. Don't Leak anything onto the track
4. On the 3rd Yellow MASH IT!

Hmmmmmm, my dad told me the first rule was.....Always stage first.

Well, finally am able to post mine......

be nice though, keep in mind, this WAS my first time at the track, never raced a car at the dragstrip before, did a horrible launch, and may have shut down early (no finish line or anything) anyway, my best run...only got 2 runs in though:

R/T - 1.319
60' - 2.311
330'- 6.592
1/8 - 10.226
MPH - 67.70
1000' - 13.376
1/4 - 16.060
MPH - 83.08

Not too bad though for a stock 11 year old luxury car..... I had everything including spare tire out of the trunk, almost a full tank of premium (14/18 gallons) only "mods" would be my K&N air filter and running $10/bottle octane booster (said it instantly adds 25hp...pff)

My engine is amazing from 0-50mph, above that it dosn't pull as hard (that 275ft lbs of tourqe are low in the rev band) my time/speed on the time card back that up too...... I figure in the 1/4 I am equal with a new Grand Am GT......if we were to street race from 0-60 or so, I think my car would have the edge..... my car is 300lbs more then a GT, but I have 25more hp and 75more ft/lbs tourqe, lower in the rev band too.....I think the thing that kills me the most is the gearing, my car is made to run at a low rpm at any speed etc..... more for ride and comfort then speed, that, plus the FDR is 2.93 I think, pretty low, so that would probally be the limiting factor.

I think if I was to practice launching, and maybe even shifting (once I get the tach in) I will do better....... I didn't do anything to realy prepare for the track, the car has the stock 15" steel wheels with wheel covers, 32psi in all 4 tires, even running wide open it would still shift smooth, and kick the rpm back and stuff, woudln't bang into gears.... maybe by next year, I'll have the last of the only performance mods done (first would be the K&N) the $160 Fast Chip that is supposed to add 15hp and 20ft lbs, firm up the shifts at WOT etc.....

I think if I was to launch good, I could maybe get 15.8?
