injectors

Does anyone know the size of injectors in this motor. Im just trying to figure out prices so i can budget what i want to get here in the near future. Id like to get bigger ones, but i guess its easier to get bigger ones when you know the size of the ones you have to begin with. thanks.

im reading thro the manual it says this not sure if its what your looking for but if not let me know ill read more from it


The port fuel injection system used on the turbo engine requires a 36 psi fuel system.

i dont know if you or anyone with a turbo ga haz the manual but i do so anything you might need from it feel free to ask i will ither photo copy it or write it and post for anyone .

i cant remember where i found out but im 99% sure that it comes stock with 19lb. injectors.
i just got some "V groove" NGK spark plugs from summit racing, they seem to work real good, maybe the acdelco ones just suck, ive only had them in the car for 10k.mi. and when i took them out they still looked good. now the car seems to pull harder under boost now with the NGKs. just wanted to let u guys know, in case ur using stock ones.

19 pounds already eh, wow. So i guess ill see what some 21s would cost. For spark plugs i aways use the bocsh platinums, but ill give the NGKs a whirl when i get my head on and see if i notice a difference. But thanks of rthe info

I know this is an old thread but figure this is the best place to put this info. When I built up my engine I was under the belief the stock injectors were 19lb (199cc) so I bought some 23lb (240cc) injectors as an upgrade. Well....my mistake for not researching further. Stock injectors on our motors are Bosch 28lb (299cc). I put my stock injectors back in and it runs so much better. Here's some part numbers in case anybody needs to buy some Bosch or Bosch clone low impedence 28lb injectors.
