Amp Location Q

Where's the best place to install an amp? Is the only choice to have it installed in the trunk?
I have a '99 4 door GA ...
Also, how did you guys attach the amp to the car? is there any alternative to drilling holes? I dont really want to do that :-/

I did my amp the cheap way got some wood screws and put it on the back of the folding down seats. I did no drilling the screws went in easy.

the trunk is about the best place to mount it. itll get plenty of air flow versus under a seat. if its a very powerful amp id do something to lift it off the carpet to allow airflow to go under it too.

the back of you seat is goin gto be the best location, unless you want to do some custom mounting in the spare tire well or get crazy like that. If your totally against putting any screw in your car at all, even mounting the amp on the box is an option. Just make sure the amp is goignto have plenty of air to cool it.
