are you sure you can run a maximum of 2000 watts rms to them or they can handle 2000 watts max? if you've got 760 watts pushing them right now id quit while i was ahead. i know a guy that had 4 alpine type r 12s and he only had 500 watts going to each of them

Type R 10's have an RMS of around 300 watts. Peak Power is 1,000.

I have 1 Alpine M500 powering 2 Type R 12'S, giving them 250 each, they hit pretty hard with that, but can easily handle more.

If your looking for a single amp that will give you the power for 2 Type R's and want Rockford, look into the Power1001bd, it will give the Type R's 500 watts each @ 2 ohms. or an Alpine M1000. Also MTX's 801D would be giving them around 400 watts each @ 2 ohms.

This is assuming you have dual 4 ohm voice coil Type R's.

So are your subs dual or single 4 ohm voice coil subs? Or are they dual 2 Ohm? Lee
