11/16 would be more than likely considered 3/4. but yeah, thats 1 cu. ft. dont forget take into consideration of your basket taking up space in the box too. also, that 12x12x12 is INSIDE diameter. to make things easier i'd say make an inside diameter of 12.1x12.1x12.1. then you're box will be a little bigger, which usually helps in bass response, and you won't have to do a whole bunch of difficult math. dont forget to fill your box about half full of polyfill, that'll help too.

If I remember right a 12 usally takes up about .05 cubic feet so not to much to worry about in a sealed box. I suggest making two boxes just so you can test my idea I told you about firing one sub toward each fenderwell. But you are on the right track. Peace, Lee

You should be able to get them both at any stereo shop. I personally don't use terminal cups as they always seem to leak air. I drill a hole the size of the wire and push it through the wall. I then tie a knot in the wire on the sub side and put a bunch of calking on the wire and pull it through till the knot is against the wall. I know it sounds weird but I guarentee no air-leaks with that. Lee

i've known of many people doing their speaker wire like that. everytime i build a box ill use a terminal cap and squirt a bunch of F-26 down around it to fill it in even with the inside of the box. its the same principal as caulking the inside cracks of the box to ensure its air tight.

im sorry. i didn't even realize what i typed. i was thinking feet. make inside measurements 13x13x13. then you'll have enough cubic feet to account for the sub and a lil extra, not much though. did pioneer say that the box had to be exactly 1 cu. ft.? or did they give you a range?

The nice thing about sealed boxes is they really aren't to picky. I wouldn't go under 1cuft and probably not over 1.5. JMO Lee

its 1 ft^3 for my subs and urs and mine are about the same sub also my subs takes up .11 cu ft so plan on the inside volume being 1.11 cu ft also i think they meant 1 cu ft per sub so ur box would more than likely have to be 2.22 cu ft try these measurements 12in depth x 13 inch height x 25 in width INSIDE the box outside it would be 1.5 inches added on to all measurements....also you could make it a little wider say 1 in and put a divider between the subs as this also saves you on having to make a brace since the box is so big. if im wrong in any of this btchn1 plz correct me...thanks....oh and also would it work if he put the subs on the ends and put the box between the fenderwells?...that might be a KILLER sound :) ...pZ

12in depth x 13 inch height x 25 in width INSIDE the box
oh is that the size of your box? did u make it yourself?

You guyz are right on track. With those measurements I come up with 2.25 cuft. Like I said when you go sealed it doesn't have to be perfect. Acually if you go just a little big the subs will play a little lower. Peace, Lee
