It "could" because it is not a factory option or accessory. I don't know the specefics on warrentys though. But a CAI is an easy install/removal so if you need to bring your car in you coudl just put your factory set up back in.
Or you could just buy an intake from me anyways :D (oh what a shameless plug )

HAHAHAHAHA
GM is becoming MORE AND MORE picky on what is installed in your car when going back to them for warranty, in Canada, I know that some dealers take an inventory of what is on your car during every visit and they upload this information on the GM system so other dealers will know what you have done to your car should the first dealer determined a failure was caused by a piece of aftermarket equipment :(

There is a law protecting vehicle owners from just this sort of fraudulent behavior practiced by some automotive dealers. The Magnusson-Moss Warranty - Federal Trade commission Improvement Act of 1975. Under the Magnusson-Moss Act, aftermarket equipment that improves performance does not void a vehicle manufacturer’s original warranty, unless the warranty clearly states the addition of such aftermarket equipment automatically voids your vehicles warranty or that the aftermarket device is the direct cause of the failure. The easiest way to check this is to look in your owner’s manual under, "what is not covered".
i got this from a website when i did a search for it. basically the dealer has t prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem
