My car is dead (at least to me) and has gone to car heaven. The trans is gone and I'm looking to trade it in for a newer car. My car was good to me while I had it. Had some good times with her. But now on to better things. I'll never stop coming to the boards tho. Just thought you guys would like to know. I'll be shopping Wednesday for the new car and I'll come update this post to let ya guys know what I ended up with. pZ guys

Sucks. Mine died the same day (or did it? Now it's running almost fine, minus some knocking and continual overheating. Guess it wasn't a thrown rod like I thought). Probably a waste for me to finally register now that it's dead, but I wanted to share your pain :).

I loved mine while I had it, only thing I didn't like was the tranny, and boy did i hate that. And of course when it died the one fully working thing in the whole car was what finally quit (the engine. I loved that 3300)

And I only had it two years :(.

Maybe when I actually get some money I'll get another Grand Am, but untill then it looks like I'm probably going to be stuck with a Corolla (eh, well. there's worse cars to get i guess.)

Hopefully you'll have better luck finding a new car.
