Ok i was thinking, of buying a new box with 6x9 holes (2) already cut out and taking the wires from the stock 6x9's and direct them to the ones in the box...how would this work? or does it sound real dumb..

Why don't you just replace the stock speakers. 6x9's are designed to live in the area of a truck so when you put them in a small box they usually sound like crap. Just my opinion though, Lee

Ive heard replacing the 6x9's is a real pain, removing, seat, carpet, unscrewin some t-50 bolt. etc etc...

The deck cover is not carpet, at least not on my GA... :D

unbolt the top part of the back seat, take off the cardboard cover over the 6x9's, and your there. Sometimes you have to take off one side of the plastic to have enough room, but really, it shouldn't take very long at all to get it done. just a couple hours start to finnish.
