Basslink hookup?

I just got my basslink yesterday. I want to know if I can tap the power wire the monsoon amp uses? I don't want to have to run a wire all the way to the battery if I don't need to. Thanx.

You really should run a wire from the battery. If you tell me the size of the fuse on the internal amp I can tell you what size wire you should run. Lee

I believe the Basslink has a 200 watt internal amp. The last Basslink I installed, I believe he bought an 8 gauge for it. You might be able to skate by with 10 though.

For the basslink, it's a 20A fuse.

You could get away with 10 gauge I think also, but I would go with 8 gauge. Go even bigger if you think you might upgrade to a bigger sub system later. Peace, Lee
