I have the money now and am ready to purchase my new system! I am thinking of either 2 Alpine swr 1041d or 1 Alpine swr 1541d. Which do you think would hit the best? Also i'm looking at getting a ProfileCL1200 or a RF Punch 501s. Which amp do you think would be best and for which sub set up? ;)

Well the two tens will give you the faster bass that rock requires. They also fit in a small box so if you don't have a lot of truck space they are a good way to go. Now don't get me wrong they will play real low bass just not as loud as the 15. But the 15 will lose a little acuaraccy. So basically if you like god smack or other hard rock go withthe 10's. If you like Eminem then go with the 15. Now if you go with the tens get dual voice coil so you can run the amp at 2ohms stereo to pull the most power out of it. Now if you go with the single 15 make sure you get a single voice coil so you can hook the amp up 4 ohms mono. If your not sure what I mean jsut ask me to go into further detail or ask your local stereo shop. Peace, Lee

Thanx! I would also like you to give me your opinion on the amps. I am thinking that i will get the 2 10's, so i was also wondering how exactly i would wire the subs starting from the inside of the box to the amp? I really appreciate your help! ;)

Take both positive posts of each sub and run them to the positive on one channel of the amp, then do the same with the negative. Follow all that one more time for the other sub to the other channel. What ever you hear, don't "bridge " the amp I promise that will kill it. What you are doing is running it 2 ohms stereo. Peace, Lee

I would suggest which ever one makes more power at 2 ohms stereo rms. The profile will make pretty much the power it says and not much more. The rockford will make just a little more than what it is rated at. For example if it says it will make lets say 200 watts per channel at 2 ohms rms it probably makes 225-235 were as if the profile makes 200 per channel it might make 190-210. As far as any thing else goes when pushing subs neither are any better than each other. example: distortion, power consumption, and so on. Lee
