Did I have keyless entry on my car?

I ask this because on my car I can acess mode two on the door locks. My car has PW, PL, power mirrors, power height seat, Cd player, but it has the 2.4 and wheel covers. Any help would be nice

The easiest way to tell is to look at your key chain. If there's a black fob on it with buttons that unlock your door and stuff, than you definitely have keyless entry...:P :angel2:

Yes I do have a fob on my key chain, but to bad it goes the malibu that it broke down in the driveway.

from what I have seen, all the '99+ with electric locks and such, are set up to accept the keyless entry system. I had mine installed at the dealership, and all they needed to do was plug in a module (I think it was somewhere in the back for some reason), and program the fob.

so, you can easily have it done for you.

look at the specs codes thats on a sticker on the bottom of your spare tire cover (in trunk). This lists all the specs/options your car came with (in code). I believe keyless entry is AU something. I will look later to see what it is for sure.
