1997 grand am gt

ok so my friends got a grand am. i was wondering if any of you could gimme a link to the dash lights. hes got one up and i think its either washer fluid or anti-freeze. its a box with wavy lines. any help would be appreciated. thanks...

try filling the washer fluid, see if it goes off? :)

i know my buddy with a 97 told me he had his radiator light on, and it looked like a suitcase with water (wavy lines) if that helps at all.

the light that comes on on the instrument panel thats a box with a water line and an arrow pointing down is a low coolant light. there is no light for low windshield washer fluid.

God help you if it's low coolant. Not to scare you, but '97 GA's have a notorious problem with water pumps. That would suck. It sucked for me twice, though it was incompetance that made it a big problem. First time it went, fine. Second time --> to the dealership. Turns out the other place broke off one bolt and cross-threaded the other. A$$holes...:2up:

I had this problem with my 96 GAGT last year.
They found it was leaking coolant. It is not an expensive job.
Just don't wait too long cause then it might cost alot more.
