View Full Version : Rattle in back ceiling

well i get lots of rattles in the back portion of my roof when my subs are on loud. I really would like to know how i can make this stop.

not sure about the placement.. but you get a ton of rattles on a GA unless you get stuff to deter it like dynamat.. or foam.. or whatever

i have a 2001 and i think it is the back ceiling agaist the roof

you got me man.. the only thing i can think of is your rear window rattling a bit.. but that takes series force to do.. simply because that is an important window you want solidily placed and built.

Do you have a sunroof??? The reason i ask is because i do, and if i have the sunroof cover closed all the way, it makes something rattle in the ceiling in the backseat rattle, if this is the case all you have to do is crack the cover open about 2 inches and it will go away

you're rattling the actaul roof? damn, what do you have? wait, is it just rattling or can you actually watch it move? to be sure where it is exactly turn the system up and start mashing on stuff to see where the rattle is coming from
