ok as some of you knwo i have been looking for a new car and i may have found it but i have some questions. i found a 1995 Firebird formula with the 5.7 LT1 and a auto tranny.for those of you that have seen my car tell me 1) how much i should expect for a trade in and 2) how much i should offer them for the car it has 113k miles and looks like new. it has T-tops and the rear window is tinted. so im just curious what yall think.

1995 T-Bird trade in value is about $4,000. As far as what to offer, start at 3,500. With 100+k miles it price will start low, and you may get away with 3,500. Point out flaws, such as dents, paint chips, and rust.

Rust starts forming after 8-10 years of an average car, so be careful :-).

Otherwise, I enjoy firebirds.

thats the thing tho it looks liek new but i think its worth a bit more than 3500. as nada puts it at 5800 low value

well it is a 1993 Grand Am GT V6 auto with 102k miles paint is in great shape for a 10 year old car. one little dent that some dumbass put in because he cant watch what his door is doing. but didnt damage the paint. im asking 2500 and yes i do have pics. give me an email and i can email them to ya

well give me a zipcode and i cna let ya know. and nope not a thing wrong with it it runs like a dream and has not had any major problems. oil has been changed in it every 2750 miles and washed at least once a month

i could prolly do that. dunno when but i can assure you it would be on a weekend and prolly ither this next one or the one after. and no there is no rust. price im not sure let me see what the dealership would give me for trade and how much i can get them to come down on price of the firebird and then i will give you a full report with a price. i can gauarntee this info tomorrow night

well the tires will do just fine during the summer for a good 10k miles but i wouldnt even dare run them in teh winter. the rims themself are too wide for snow. ill do some digging right now and send ya them pics

Can you give me the VIN number so i can check the history and so i can get an insurance quote tomarrow? Also i had the same rims on my old car before i wrecked it and they were fine in the winter, so what do you mean they are too wide? Also do you you have any interior pics? Thanx for sending those other pics too. Would you sell it with the door speakers and cd player with it not the subs and amp? Also could you bring it up possibly this Saturday? One more thing, how old the flowmasters and what series are they? Travis

ok the flows are 40 series and were new in january. maybe 5k miles on them tops. i spose i can sell with the cd player and door and rear speakers and keep the subs. and by too wide i mean that in snow a narrower tire is better than wide. but the tires are crap in snow. but they are just fine on dry and wet pavement. i dunno if i can this saturday or not it will prolly be tuesday before i know if i can or not. ill be sure to get ya the vin # tonight yet as i gotta go out to the place i have it stored right now.

ok just got home from the dealership got them talked down to 6500 for it and they offered me 2750 for my car. so 94greenga if you think 3k is ok let me know and then we can talk about me bringing it up and all the good stuff.

ok guys help me out here:

avg. monthly income: 540

Car loan for bird:110
loan for bronco:45(will be paid off in like 5 months)
insurance for bronco:40
insurance for bird 170-full(summers aprox. 7 months)440( winters aprox 5 months)


540-365=175 so i should be able to afford it correct? i have no other monthly bills or things to spend money on.

so i will have another 45 too early next year. so i really shoudlnt have any problem paying for it
