I have 2 12'' SoloBarics in a sealed box that I am going to put into my GA. The HU is a monsoon system, after searching the forum I found this was pretty easy to do with a simple adapter( speaker level to Rca). Before I do this I am wondering if this is the best way to go. I did this modification some years back and it sounded like crap. I was using a PG ZX 350 and a Orion Extreme 12" off a stock Ford head deck, simply it was terrible. This time it will be a Orion HCCA 250R and 2 L7's in a sealed box off the monsoon deck. Can I expect a clean signal from the adapter?

The ford decks really suck so that was a bad experience. The gm decks aren't to bad to come off of but I have yet to find a really good adaptor. I usually suggest getting an amp that has high level inputs cause that seems to work awsome. Good luck, Lee

Thanks man I really appericate the help. First I'm going to try the adapter then if thats a problem I'll swap amps out. Should have it done by tommorow morning I'll let you know how it sounds.
