Need Help By Tonight

will someone please explain to me by what circut city told me to do...i just bought a sub, box, amp,...they have told me to hook the stero wire they gave me to the rear speaker wires at the factory deck(because i will not be getting a new deck i am keepin the factory) ne way what color wire is it for the 2 rear speakers, i have to "splice" into to it...if someone knows what i am talkin bout please please get back to me and explain...(kinda stupid bout this stuff thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically a guy usually uses a set of rca's from a new deck to get signal to the amp. Since you don't have that option you need to steal signal from the rear speakers. The colors are:
Right Rear + Dark Blue
Right Rear - Light Green
Left Rear + Brown
Left Rear - Yellow
What are you using to convert this signal to RCA or does the amp have high level inputs? If your not sure just tell me what amp you have. Lee

also how would i splice into the wirein harness?? to the wires?

Are you sure you want to tackle this? Here goes. As far as tapping into the wires, find them as they go into the spekaers and not behind the deck. strip back the wire jacket on each wire without cutting it and wrap your wire around it. Make sure to tape up each wire. After you do that to all four wires run them to the amps high level input and make sure to put the + with the + and - with -. Unless you have some T taps or butt connectors, then use them. Lee
