I'm seriously considering buying a new Grand Am and was hoping to get some insight from y'all. I know most of you are probably biased towards Grand Ams, but was hoping to get some honest opinions.
What all do you like/dislike about your cars? My big concern is reliablility. I'm not sure how these cars rate. The only Pontiac i've ever owned was my GTO, and a few things have changed since '69 I'm sure;)
Thanks for the help, I hope to stick around here for a while.

Sounds to me like you're already sold, comming to a GA enthusiast site to ask advice on what to buy :) , but in al seriousness I love my GA, 100K and no major issues. I think you'll find a GA to be a wise choice for whatever your needs (Unless you want to haul hay or go mud running... I've seen it happen).

I'll give you my opinion. I said I didn't like the newer Grands and I Thought they were kinda ugly. I had a friend that happen to buy one. I rode in it and I was hooked. At the same time I was considering cavalier and a alero. Cavalier was a little small, but not bad. The big thing was the Grand vs. Alero. I loved both of the cars. The Grand looks more sportier than the Alero, although I tend to like the more slick, smooth look. So I bought my first Grand which was a 99 GT. Sometimes I wished I would have went with the Alero, but in all I made a good choice. I was giving the opition to trade it in this year and since I had good luck with mine, I stuck with the Grands! I've had lots and lots of comments on it. I'm really glad I decided to go with it.

I have a '97 GT coupe, and my wife had an '00 Alero. Love both cars and wouldn't trade them for anything. Only got rid of the Alero because the lease ran out, and we needed a minivan for the kids (can't fit three kids in car seats in the back of an Alero...lol). I love my GA, and love the Alero. Can't go wrong with either of them, if you ask me.

I got my 94 Grand Am SE in the spring 2002.
My mom was loving my car so much that when she sold her old car (96 Grand Prix SE) this year, she got a brand new Grand Am SE1. So far, she didn't have any troubles with now 12 000 km. (she got it at the end of March)
