Ok, I have a Kenwood KAC-606 and these are the power ratings:

-Bridged Power Output at 14.4V (1kHz, 0.8% THD): 150 Watts x 1
-Maximum Output Power: 300 Watts x 1
-Power Output at 2 Ohms, at 14.4V (1kHz, 0.8% THD): 75 Watts x 2
-Power Output at 4 Ohms, at 14.4V (20Hz-20kHz, 0.08% THD): 50 Watts x 2

What does this mean in terms of what kind of sub I can attach to it?

I have another thread going in this section but I think this one will give me the answers I need. Moderators, feel free to delete my other thread.

you could attach 1 sub rated at about 150watts rms if the channels are bridged or...

or 4 subs rated at 37.5 Watts rms (2 per channel, in parallel)

or 2 subs rated at 50watts rms (i am assuming that the subs are ohm subs for all the above).

get a 4 ohm sub and bridge it OR get a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub and wire it to be 4 ohm then bridge it, which would drop it down to 2 ohm.
