i need some help with a painting project with a couple of questions about about some paints and designs. i wanna use some polyurathane(spelling??) paint as the base coat and than ghost an image into it. is it possible to use a water based paint over the base for ghosting?? and what would be the best way to ghost the image? i plan on useing a dark green base and ghost with a pearl white. any help would be great

Waterbase cannot be intermixed w/ solvent based paints. You can use whatever you want to make your flames but a true ghost job is usually done by going a shade darker or lighter, or better yet, I use tinted clear to ghost flames. Urethane is your best bet, it's the most flexible & durable.
